TIME has always been the chief villain in poems of LYRIC POETS. Time has to be one of most nearly concrete of abstract concepts. Where as Shakespeare attacked time in its destruction of nature, beauty, ambition, you give us a distinctly contemporary voice and presence. And the tone is one of superior intelligence, you're not afraid of this abstraction. You won't surrender, you will out-think time.
