Every sphere of our life,
We try to keep balance,
When there is an imbalance,
There is a disaster,

It is a poem on a serious theme and it is thought provoking - the predicament of modern man. I enjoyed it greatly.
If it wouldn't be for imbalance, you would never know the importance of balance. Nicely written.
this is life, , , it's between balance and imbalance well penned thanks for sharing 10
Ahhhhh. Equilibrium and how there is none in modern society. I did not look at things that way. Message is really something I did not expect. If I might, though, you can choose to word it more delicately. A bit more figures of speech. Some flurry/fluff. But bravo, you have shown me some new paradigm that I will surely think about for days.
very nice and philosopkical.... its a libra thing...horoscopes say so but well written and deals with an inportant subject...maybe i lll come back for4 a comment later cheers
Well written. Send me the link once you have written another.
I like your poem Balance......Imbalance, it seems we can't have one without the other, life can be be like riding a see-saw (a long plank with one thing/or person on one end and another person or thing on the other end) A fair-minded person, adjust its weight on the plank in such a way that the person down will rise up while the other feet down on the ground. In most societies one person or persons want to stay up while others stay down, thus, keeping a society imbalanced. thanks for asking me to read your poem, I enjoyed yor fresh perception of balance and imbalance.
I love it how you take something that most see as wrong 'imbalance' and turn it around as if to say that it is infact wrong. That is how I see it, I like it. Thank you for sharing. Thomas Brown
Thanks for inviting me to read this poem. True, right, every time one tries to balance something, he ends up toppling the system. Given much thought about it, have you? A good poem and a 'gooder' theme! !
thank you Kafil for sharing. Things fall apart. Reminds me of Yeats. 'Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity. ' Yeats
A good poem and a noble message delivered to men. Better keeping one's honor than being a so- to- speak balanced person...Good write!
nice poem, as surya said so..a balanced poem well done there LUWI
this si well thought out.... smart man.............. good.
very thought-provoking, shows how balance is more beneficial as compared to imbalance, but yet showing how balancing 'morality with reality' will cause us to be a changed person, how it's affecting us in entirety. interesting ideas..
True to life, the reality is being said!
