I remembered the beautiful name Bakku, given by my lovely friends to me. But the day on that I was about to speak, the conventional words, I love you, you came with a sharp knife and slaughtered me! ........so touching with a nice theme. We feed goat in love and at last we go with a sharp knife to slaughter it, what a treacherous deed we do? Beautifully penned.

I cannot begin to imagine what goes through a goats 'mind'. Perhaps we anthropomorphize other animal life forms. In the moment, when I am hungry; I'll eat a hot-dog without considering from whence it came. Except for some fish, and vegetables; I have never killed that which I have consumed. Some cultures use cats and dogs; some insects. How can one differentiate, and on what basis? A poem that has obviously made me think!

Something I have oft pondered. I like meat; but I also like vegetables. Both are forms of life; as am I. Life can be defined as an act of consumption. Some forms need not feed on 'life' to live. Most life preys on its own kind to survive. If we could exist, simply by metabolizing atmospheric atoms and molecules, instead of digesting organic matter, the population of consuming entities would eventually overwhelm available space.
