Baguio City Phillipines Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Baguio City Phillipines

Baguio City Phillipines

I believe inplaces of splendors,
I believe the old man had just died,
Like the minute hands of a circling clock,
in the distance of time, .

Just as the bus with the tourists must see,
All the scenic beauty,
Until the time when the last part
of the tours is concluded,

And yes the revealing treasures,
that damned incandescent,
you've seen this last stunningattractions,
and you're sad,

Just as my wife, my daughters
on the highest ridges of Baguio City,
We've seen the stunning beauty'sof the islands,

And overlooking the whole valleys
and the surroundingsbelow,
the small blurry houses dotted on this hillside,
the great trees of life's
and the conglomerations of excited peoples,

inside my heart I feel the great odes,
of Percy Bussey Shelley's,
and the lots of others,

why I am this transient poet,
why maybe all men and women
does sees something infinite
Definite in this journey of existence,

It's not the attractions,
it's not the impacts of thetraveling,

It's just like a visit to Gods temples,
That we are celebrating life,
and those fleeting attractions,

Like everything's coming to an end
and we must take the trip back to the hotel,
finally making our final preparations,

To take theheavy luggage's
like the heart's weariness,
and the tired bodies
Ingoing home,
