Badly Damaged: (London 1994) Poem by DM W

Badly Damaged: (London 1994)

You wander the streets at night,
Looking for a fix or hit.
Tonight is no different.
Now you're feeling nauseous,
Because you're such a speed freak.
You're looking emaciated.
Your face is ghostly white and
Your blood shot eyes scream out for sleep.

Some people just waste their life for nothing. An eyesore and a burden to society. An incisive write and a vivid depiction of addiction. Well crafted and executed write.
