Bad Timing Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Bad Timing

Laying here late at night
Knowing your somewhere with her
That's just how things are now
But I wish for how things were.

When I see you now
There's so much I want to say
But fear stops me from speaking
and I just look the other way.

I never moved on
I held on to a piece of you.
When I got to look in your eyes
I saw you held onto a piece of us too.

It's clear How much still we love each other
No matter how much we try denying
You always had a piece of my heart
Without ever even trying

If I said I didn't want forever with you
Just know I would be lying
One day it will all work out
We just always have bad timing
