Yes, I have heard that in the old days of the West, mountain lion meat was considered a delicacy. A great story, Cowboy! I was deer hunting once when a mountain lion ran across the hillside right in front of me. I was tempted to shoot, but it would have been illegal. You need a permit to shoot them in Utah.
This poem was posted 27 July 2020, approximately a year and a half ago, and I just noticed a misspelled word today! I guess I need to proofread some of my other poems!
Good thing Bri Edwards never saw this poem when it still had the misspelled word! He would have kidded me mercilessly!
