Back to home from whence it came
Without a face
Without a name
Torn down to ashes
Blinded by fear
Trying to see hope through the blood and the tears
Trying to escape
Trying in vain
Fleeing back home from whence it came
Tired of fighting, of missing the light
As morning sun rises and shatters the night
Illuminates valleys with lush viscous skies
Peaceful and lucid amid absent cries
None to cause worry, cast doubt or distress
Just you and the earth and cast out the rest
