Back To Ape Days Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Back To Ape Days

Rating: 5.0

A project got delayed when, and stalled,
Brave people! They never got appalled,
A way out was soon found—
And I'd say, quite profound,
Like here, when how apes did they recalled!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Governance, with politics meddling everywhere, has always been pathetic despite the brave face kept by government. People have to find a way out and make the most of a bad bargain.

Thanks indeed, the poem and picture tells it all, and yet I wrote it by way of emphasis.

Amazingly humorous write. A great satire on how government performs its functions. Liked the fascinating title. Another clever write, Sir.

Yes, but there is so much humour all around us, newspapers, TV, social/political gatherings, and what not, I think there is no need for separate entertainment, if we keep our eyes and ears open. Thanks for the comments, but I really wonder I deserve them.

Over is when the ballot paper ticking, Election won, back are they politicking, Ah relishing, their fingers licking! What else the people left to their wits can do? Thanks for such lovely words of appreciation, Dr Swain.
