To all dear PoemHunter friends, thank you so much for commenting on the Beauty of Normandy, I am still thankful for the great supports and comments here, best wishes from Sylvia Frances Chan in The Netherlands
this is absolutely lovely, ---the repetition is powerful and sets the scene emotionally and this reader feels like I'm walking with you and feeling this beach and its history--many stars for this lovely piece of art
Great poem. Lovely ode to nature. Reminds me of my own native Kerala
WOW! What most beautiful is your home-town. Thank you greatly for your enthusiastic support, UNNIKRISHNAN
For dear CN Premkumar, thank you so much fior your lovely response.
Sylvia you can edit poems in this New PH too. Go to poems. On each poem to the right you see three dots. Click that and there is edit option. Click that. Edit your poem snd publish. It gets edited in a day i think.
Sylvia this is my second poem on Normandy. I really liked your child and you enjoying the treasured moments.vi read this in Bri's showcase. Really made me to imagine the beautiful Normandy.
Dear Bri, in our old P we can correct a wrong typed word after we have submitted that, but here I cannot, that's the great difference with the old PH
Sylvia, since you implied earlier that I'd 'have my pick' of your poems to use in a showcase, I WON'T WORRY ABOUT copyright infringement. : )
'pebbles', not 'pebbels', and the illustration is obscure to me, literally and figuratively, but I'll use Grandma's poem in 2nd July showcase I think. : ) bri
ESPECIALLY FOR BRI, PLEASE, DEAR BRI, READ MY EXPLANATION, AFTER SUBMITTING A POEM, WE CANNOT CORRECT A MISTAKE, IN THE OLD POEM HUNTER HOME PAGE[ WE COULD DO THAT,
CONTINUED 2: I DO HOPE YOU ARE ON THE SAME THINKING-LEVEL AS I. THANK YOU
Ever such deep beauty and heart painted into this! ... Ever so heartfelt! .. Again, so very very beautiful! .. Love the sentiments held within heart and mind! ..! .. Definite 5 Stars++++++++++
Continued: For Ramesh: I am really very sorry that you have bad memories. What had WW2 done to you? Thank you for your sportive support and comment, on my MPOTD dear Ramesh, as ever your poet friend Sylvia Frances Chan from The Netherlands
Continued, For Ramesh: I am so very sorry that this area reminds you of the WW2, but my sons and I had been to several places to France (in the past) to have our holidays, but we regard this the most beautiful because they can play free on a wide area, other places in France are also beautiful, but the sky is here immense blue and the sea is free and the ocean very wide.
Continued: For Ramesh: but this boy enjoys nature as none else, believe me, as none else, IF I describe that, i twill surely take 3 pages full of words in a prose format.
23. Dear Ramesh poet friend since long time, your comment: Beautiful nostalgia of Normandy is feelingly depicted here! But this place reminds me of World War II too! Congratulations to you for the selection of your poem as Member Poem of the Day by Ph! To be honest, when I created this poem, I only thought of beauteous things together with my eldest grandson of 3 years old, still a toddler,
