Hi Val - perhaps that should be Violent Val - your poems are so so BLACK except for SWEET RAPTURE which i adored and may comment on in the future - when I have fully digested its very emotive content. BACK & FORTH and never getting anywhere? ? ? ? The golden rule Val - is 'To never Fall out of Control' whatever our position - standing - sitting - lying on the floor. V 2 We all often feel 'Out of reach from anyone' but in reality there is always someone who is there just for us. V 3 the rope always 'dangles from the edge' but we always have a choice - take the easy way out and end it all - or 'ignore the rope' and choose life - however daunting the prospect. V 4 This verse is ful of pathos 'eyes wide open' 'drowned screams' 'tears of lies' 'unbearable fear'. The last line leves us on a 'cliff hanger' - 'Desperately reaching for the rope' - perhaps the choice is ours and not yours. Thank you for a very thought provoking poem. Love in poetry - JOHN
