Ayodhya Dispute: Breakthrough On The Cards

a fresh cool breeze blows
through.Ayodhya's dusty streets
and the country wows
as it finds muslims so sweet
'malice, we herewith, delete'

mediation worked;
to put their best foot forward
none of parties, shirked;
time for praise to be showered
pluralism is unsevered

Sri Sri's team, worked hard
mingling with all stake holders
who carried peace placards
Court matters in neat.folders
soon we will read its orders

country is gung-ho
to.take along everyone
as same soil all.sow;
for hatred to be down toned
time for.mindsets to be honed;

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh India is one of the holiest places for Hindus. it is said to be the birth place of Lord Rama some 7500 years ago. Ramayana has been immortalised in poetry by Sage Valmiki. it is said that there was a Rama Temple at Ayodhya which was demolished by Mughal Ruler Babar about 500 years ago and a Masjid built in its place. In 1992 the marjid was demolished by Hindus and a dispute has arisen that the land has to be given to Hindus to build a grand Rama Temple. Dispute has been going on for nearly 100 years in various courts.

The SupremeCourt of India appointed a mediation panel with spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankarji (famous for his Art of Living Centres all over the world) and other members. The committee has completed its work and report submitted to Court. Meanwhile the Court has concluded arguments by all parties and reserved its order. The parties seem to be in a mood for accomodation and reconciliation, thanks to the efforts of the Mediation panel.
