AWESOME AND THEN SOME

Awesome... and then some
That's what my God means to me
For the love He poured out on my behalf
That day at Calvary
His completion of my Salvation
Hallelujah for the Cross
When I repented from sin and believed on Him
I gained greater than I'd ever lost

His grace is greater than all of my sin
His forgiveness through His power of love
What a wonderful transformation that occurred
When I placed my trust in the Lord
There's a rest in my soul
that I never knew could exist
And a joy that's held fast to my heart
What a blessing to know the Lord Jesus as my Friend
And to know He shall never depart!

Awesome... and then some
That's what He means to me
For I shall never tire of hearing that name
Who over sin can give sure victory!
Praise God for that Lamb of God
That Lamb who for sinners was slain
Awesome...and then some
Hallelujah for Jesus Christ's name!

Hallelujah, what a Saviour!
