The moonlight shines upon the earth, a gentle glow above
Ave Maria, Ave Maria, a prayer for peace and love
The stars twinkle in the sky, a heavenly display
Ave Maria, Ave Maria, guiding us along the way

In the stillness of the night, the world is calm and still
Ave Maria, Ave Maria, a moment to be still
To reflect upon our lives, our hopes and dreams and fears
Ave Maria, Ave Maria, to wipe away our tears

The angels sing in harmony, their voices pure and clear
Ave Maria, Ave Maria, a message we can hear
Of hope and joy and love, of faith and grace divine
