As long ere had happened,
His work duly done by Him led—
Ravan, the demon defeated,
Rama was reminded:
It was time to return.

And it did happen again,
When the evil of Duryodhan
Also was duly done,
Krishna was told once again:
It's time to heaven you head.

So too his work duly done,
To death was Gandhi done.
