Ava Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

Ava

Rating: 5.0

Ava today I've come to unveil my whole thought
Staying mute has made me senseless
knowing what i wanted
But lacking of confidence to bail it out

I've been running in circle
Parading every road you've touched
Eager to see your gliterring face
But none has wanted my presence

Even the ones that first saw your footprint
They all held so calm
Trying to define my impossibilities
Thinking i am no way cleaver

They presented their doubt in jovial manner
Judging my pose instead my state of mind
Many said they haven't witnessed such madness
Believing i will end up on mere errand

Ava but my direction was to get into your heart
And all the things that make you pleased
Your grains i want out of the seeds from the field
You i wish to gift the key to my own soul

It is my ambition you have it all.
