Autumn's Foreshadowing Poem by james watkin

Autumn's Foreshadowing

This stretch of dale, sunny pleasure's
Is that swamped, mistily
When for bearings, footing about
Senile-like, lost will be.

Youth into Age - but weeks away!
Foreshadowed of its fears
Through what old-leaved, ravaged shake
Hangs o'er those golden years.
