Autumn-Layed Poem by james watkin

Autumn-Layed

Layed o'er that hot floor
Kicked up for Earth's dust
What bouncy, in its appeal
Suits a toddler's crawl.

A thick patchwork rug
Of hues, the richest
So illustrates it. As winds
Alike caterwaul.
