4. Maybe her dependence on me is waning too. I know I am being a little selfish when I wish I should die before her, I would love her to live a happy healthy independent life without me.

I have been trying to train ourselves by allowing my wife to stay with our daughter as often as possible, while I remain at my native place. Thus I have learned a bit of the chores she used to take upon herself, including cooking and shopping.

2) But my take is different. My wife and I are so very much dependent on each other. Though I am fully aware of my emotional dependence on her, I am aware that her emotional requirement for my presence is more than mine.
