fall is still our clue for its beauty hides in mystery like the lessons of life yet unseen- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -I have to say I like how those lines swirled around and around like a leaf spiraling down from a tree..... you haven't written lately- -I hope all is well with you and I want you to know that I've read most of your poems and I am a very voracious reader and I want more of your poems! ! ! I would like you to take me along for another walk through your city streets- - your technique totally shines

Susan Williams, Thanks so much for your kind efforts and words to read and comment on this poem. I havn't been here in awhile. It is funny though that when someone such as yourself responds as you have the encouragement is really lovely. Guess I feel a little more motivated. Funny how seeing something through another's eyes in your above review has inspired me! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I wish you had used punctuation. The poem would have read better that way. That last stanza does need a dose of punctuation. The meaning is somewhat unclear. You do have a talent for writing poetry.

Clarence Prince, Where do we find inspiration? I think that God knows we need it and allows us to hear His voice through the masterpiece of His handiwork of the heavens and earth. We are fit to do so I think. You are good to give me your input on anything I may set my pen too. It is a vulnerable world we live in and any positivity means so much. God bless you this special Christmas season. Kathy

Rebecca Navarre, Will we ever run out of delights to ponder within our wonderful natural world? I still am in awe and hope it never grows old. How can it? Your review is so kind and helpful. It is always nice to know that our poems our read and liked even a little by others; don't you think? Well, I wish you every blessing of this CHRIST-mas season! Autumn does seem mysterious in that it's beauty comes on vividly but gradually. Everywhere as you have pointed out it is like a painting. Thanks so much for taking the time to read. Blessings to you in your life and writing Kathy

I really enjoyed your poem. So lively! Your way to picture the Autumn proves your great skill in the art to construct good poems. Keep it up, my kind friend. You said.......Glimpses of vivid color; orange, yellow, cream, crimson-the trees bear the traces and memory of summer's sunshine as the cool days of fall set in......... and I say, WOW! Surely, I will rate this 10. Thanks for sharing.....Chan Mongol

Chan Mongol, Isn't color wonderful within a process of natural time! ? Still I am so pleased with your ability to really read my humble work. I feel that I can keep trying..................Sincerly Kathy

I like your description of the changing color of leaves being THE MEMORY OF SUMMER'S SUNSHINE, past and present times collapse into each other in that image. And your list of colors is surprising: orange, yellow, cream, crimson: a whole month goes by as leaves take on these colors! You enlarge the meaning of autumn in the final stanza suggesting the season itself is a mysterious source of wisdom. I'm convinced of it!

Bernard F. Asuncion, Beauty and nature do seem to go hand in hand and to me the simplicity is why we need it. My writing is not long or complicated but it simply is.
