I see nature change before my eyes
Summer fades in the arms of an autumn day

Season of Autumn and feelings of love wonderfully woven in this poem. Thanks for sharing. To quote from this lovely poem- - But I feel no sadness, no sorrow for the breeze That now shivers my skin with moist and chill Amongst the reddish leaves and the naked trees Somewhere into the woods, I stand still And feel the soil awaking beneath my boots Nature's nest for life to be reborn and then, Find its way into the world and grow roots To last the cold, until spring comes back again ‘Till flowers bloom and swallows return to nest

Isn't Autumn the season of poetry? That means it belongs to poets - I should say to U S P O E T S! ! Your poem the whole of the season, and then at the very end brings in the theme of love. It's a wonderful shift from the minor key of autumnal description the major key of describing your beau. And it suffuses the poem with a feeling of fulfillment, and fulfillment, ripeness, harvest are all lovely traits of Autumn. I was too busy today to take a walk through the Autumn landscape, but your with its vivid evocation was an imaginative walk fully satisfying.

Dear Aphrodite, it was just a week ago I told you reading your AUTUMN LEAVES was like an autumnal walk outdoors. Well, I am just leaving for a real walk but I re-read your poem and now my mind is filled with its lovely images which will enhance and deepen my time in the outdoors. I'm going to a favorite park called Salem Hills. You may know Salem is the Hebrew word for P-E-A-C-E
