Autumn Dusk Poem by William He

Autumn Dusk

Autumn Dusk
By William He

Afterglow scatters along the ripples of the sea,
It bleeding from the cracks of the clouds,
Many wild and sacred spots well hidden in quiet eyes.
The heart strings pluck the memories,
Unspools like film raw and flickering,
Atmosphere stuffed with white arches and palaces once.
Shadows whispering secrets to evening light.
As in the Luminescence Spectroscopy,
Sunsets are weaving their magic now.
Shades of blue outline a parade of mountains,
Seagulls flying back and fort mystically on an untamed bay.

The ethereal gleam touching on the world's weary face.
Heaven as a canvas washed and blurred,
The lustering pearls ignite the scene.
Amber orb reluctantly sinks into the water,
Crimson liquid bleeds into distant horizon,
Palatine Hill lost in sky that endlessly sucks in.
The pensive puffy clouds seem,
To travail through the twilight,
Balancing the emotion wings.
Beneath, the glittery plankton and colourful fishes,
They spy among the receding rollers there.
