I travel through this sea of crimson leaves, allowing the scent of dwindling trees to penetrate the mirth amongst the tranquil South Side breeze. I adorn the weight of warmth in preparation for the cold, I grip my mittens and my scarf as I was often told. I bid adieu to the suns illuminating heat and I trade flip flops for boots for they are more appropriate for the feet. I smile and thank God from the bottom of my heart for I lived another year, I lived to see Autumn again.
