Aufie Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Aufie

Of my struggles,
Of my youth years,
But, where is the gold that you promised me?
My sweet Aufie,
Of my pains and of my sorrows;
Though in poverty, i still love you.

Love!
Tapping into the passion of the beholder;
Valley vein!
Entente,
Ennoble;
But, what is wrongw ith your face and body today?
I want to know.

Love!
A symbol of morality;
Love!
The nectar of life;
Ad, add!
Living among people who care for each other.

Brad, brag, bran;
Wild plant!
Wild love!
In the wilderness of the Red Valley;
And like words from the old big lady and, the old big man.
