If only I could waltz...or even dance! Many thanks, Poet.

M.J., as your title suggests, it's all about attitude. For most of my life, I used to believe that I was a klutz as a dancer. And then one day, I discovered that when I'm in the arms of someone who really knows how to dance, then I'm no longer a klutz. She's leading me into dance moves that I didn't even know I had. Not only is she dancing great, but so am I! Thanks for this beauty of a poem that's a great tribute to love, dance, devotion. And most of all...ATTITUDE.

Thank you so very much, Richard. When I wrote this, I did indeed have attitude in mind...mine. And then I remembered the meaning for the ballet dancer....the attitude. It is and remains a position for us both. Thank you again, Richard.

The movement in your poem is so eloquently alive. One whose whole being dances to a different tempo to the observer. Beautiful write! ! !

Thank you so very much, Simone. Yes, this really is about two people who move in entirely different ways.

Life should be a graceful dance! When two people in love move synchronously, life becomes a lovely waltz! Beautiful write!

I have always wanted to dance across a ballroom floor in a man's arms, our steps in natural tune with each other, our bodies whirling and swirling like physical rhymes... but I am a klutz and the only grace I ever achieved was a borrowed one from the back of a horse... I love the heart of this poem, it definitely caresses and embraces the art form of dance in the spirit of love.

Thank you so very much, Susan. Yes, I too would love to glide and move with the grace of the finest dancer. I'm in a family of great dancers- -some should have made it a career. I think I'm the exception that proves the rule.

MJ, so cleverly written....you can feel the balancing of an allegretto personality and adagio but we all know it works wonderfully in music :) and the Note...a lovely crescendo.

Mille Grazie! Sounds like you also dance! Awesome. And you are absolutely right....There's something fantastic when there is a perfect balance.
