Excellent poem. Particularly the last stanza: 'most peculiar are “we' can share our thoughts suitably can love... can have freedom can be the best if we want' Ironic how given a choice, some choose hate over love and enslaving others over freedom.10+++

WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE! THE DAY FORCES OF 'HATRED' OVERTAKES THE FORCES OF 'LOVE', - THAT WOULD BE THE END OF US -Raj

Fine comparisons made here and by introducing the work found in nature and the success rates, you go on to show what as humans we too can achieve - - excellent reasoning...... and thank you for the reminders....10 + + + Fay

I liked this angle of this poem Grace. The creatures you write about so well, all take their part in nature's plan as it is instinctive, and we should too but we also have the choice to do more for humanity than we already do. Well expressed. 10 Karin

Beautiful variations in attitude and beautifully penned. In our case the choice swings between Ulusses and Lotus-eaters. CP

Hi Lady Grace - Nice Poem! 'Ants' 'Bees' 'Spiders' really beautiful specimens of God's craetion we can learn a lot from them! The ANTS work ethic the BEES organisatio and the SPIDERS spinning webs of allurement and intrigue and demonstrating the ultimate in Women's Lib! The poem has excellent structure and flow. The final stanza throws the ball back in our court what are our strengths? 1. Thought sharing - lovely - and a lovely opportunity with PH. 2. Love - that is the raison d'etre of life - to love and be loved.3. Be free - that is our prayer for the whole Human Race. 4. Be the best - YES! However we do have choices - so its up to us to Share - to Love - to be Free - to be the Best - how do you choose? . It is a perfect poem from a lovely Lady so I score it MAX. Love in poetry - JOHN.

Many years ago I lived in Singapore, each morning I would leave early for work and I would see a Chinese carpenter making stuff on the pavement, when I returned from work he was still there and late evening returning from a night out he was also there. I used to admire his industry because he seemed to work like your ants. A change of attitude can also mean a better way of life. Great poem Bob 10+

A nice, profound concept, dear! ..... The clincher lies in the end......... if we want....... i think all want but the madness for money, power n fame leaves no room for the virtues of humanity, what say? ? ?
