@Edward Kofi Louis, 'The pull of gravity! ' - Yes, dear poet, it's just that! Difficult to ignore, it pulls us to our graves and then only stops! Thanks for reading and commenting in your usual way!

@Valsa George, 'Though we cling on to life, we have to leave it one day! ' - Thanks for telling this eternal truth in so simple words. I am highly inspired by your thoughtful interpetation of my poem. Thanks again.

How true this is of human life! Ours is a story of attachments and separation! Though we cling on to life, we have to leave it one day! It is painful that we have to bid farewell to persons to whom we are attached! The fact that we cannot cling on to anything in life is beautifully illustrated with the example of the raindrop which falls down though it tries to cling on tenaciously to the leaf!

We form attachments that are difficult to separate from. This is an excellent write about love and life. Like Bri said in his comment, it does take two.

The imagery and the sentimental feeling struck to my mind and tongue, a simple poem but it goes deep..thats how it works!

wow! i just read a poem by Rajnish Manga & he too gave Google a photo credit! it was your comment (and face) on his poem page which prodded me in your direction. :) to MyPoemList this reminds me of another i just read, about it 'taking two' to make a human relationship e.g. marriage last. i've felt 'gravity' take me from my three previous marriages! the marriages died, but i did NOT! BRI :)
