Atmospherics Poem by Valerie Dohren

Atmospherics

In the scented eve'ning
Under the starlit sky
Moonbeams softly falling
Watching a firefly
Leaves are gently rustling
Caught in a fleeting breeze
Flutt'ring wings and feathers
Nesting within the trees
Lights in bedroom windows
And garage doors now pulled
Garden gates closed tightly
To sleep now, softly lulled ….

To sleep now, softly lulled - ahhhhh!
