BTW In my comment on A Nail et alia I referred to Nietzsche's experience with a HORSE being beaten in Turin. I did not type the key word horse! There's a film by Bela Tarr called THE TURIN HORSE, which dramatizes the horse and its master AFTERWARDS. It's a harrowing film, but I'd recommend it. I think... Here's another sweet poem about an inanimate object, although at the end it appears a very frustrated father is using the ATM as a metaphor for himself. It's clever but the line about lying in an ocean of vanity is incisive, it cuts sharply.
