At The Year-End Poem by William He

At The Year-End

At the Year-end
By William He

In evolution of asymmetric time the frozen memory awaking,
With the spurious smiles casting and releasing the dark crest.
Who can untie to stretch a little and further a skein of puppet,
These hands and feet as to a requiem where the chorus sings.
The mind so cluttered with angst and worry always in a hurry,
Reverie breaks monotony and we feel in harmony for a while.
Desperation of vegetation to exist and persist through rigour,
Festival couplets are placeholders for times spent with them.
