At Least 9 Times Poem by Randy McClave

She was constantly abused
And she was also confused,
Because every time that he would hit her
She would smile, cuddle up and purr.
She was continually mistreated
And her soul and beliefs were always defeated,
And she was always walked upon
By his attitude and also by his brawn.
She said that she truly loves him
And it wasn't just a schoolgirl whim,
She always forgives him for his every uncaring act
And also for his every spiritual and mental and physical attack.
To her he had constantly used and lied
Never for support was he ever at her side,
And whenever that he kicks or pushes or does shove
She always forgives him, because she is in love.
She says that she is forever his
But, if her daughter(s) were treated the way that she is,
That abuser of theirs she said wouldn't hear a sound
And soon that abuser would be 6 feet underground.
She would always do whatever that her man wanted or said
Especially if it was in the kitchen, or in the bed,
And every time by him that she was disrespected
She just felt sad and lonely and again neglected.
He would always put his children and his ex in front
Their needs and wants will always come first he would grunt,
And then when by anyone she is ever mocked and cursed
He then tells her why that she can't be first.
Sadly she gets mistreated almost every single day
And she always tells him that she loves him in every known way,
Even though against her, he has committed physical and mental crimes
She will undoubtedly forgive him, at least 9 times.
