At Last The Demon Unbound
The demon bound long
as the years passed
became wise
revealing what he was binding was as a thin
ceremonial thread.
He tore it effortlessly
jumped with joy
and laughed hysterically,
happy and excited
that at last the numbing
bondage shaken off.
Yet he wondered,
What a fool
he had been so long!
How a demon acts has been so touchingly articulated in this poem, The way of presentation is amazing. Thank you very much.
Evil or devil has ingenuous ways to create turmoil in someone's mind or for the society as a whole if not taken care of. The poem underlines the extent of their reach. Thanks for a thought provoking poem.

The three poems 'When You Came', 'Demonetization' and this one touch the heart. 'Demonetization' brings out the pain of losing the last hope, 'When you Came' is the common picture of today's world.
