Bob, I can only repeat what everyone has said before me. The beautiful images evoke a pristine picture in ones mind of a hot summer day and the unseen activities that goes on there almost unnoticed except by a keen observer. Ten plus from me my friend. David

Such an utterly beautiful and picturesque poem Bob. You took me to the daybreak of your poem and it reminded me of a CD I have of bird calls at daybreak in Australia. Your poem is a celebration of another day and 'the moth' and 'ants begin to march' for some reason captivated me. This poem can be read again and again and there will always be something new to discover. Top marks Karin

You begin with an 'anxious world' and end with the sun's bold salutation to the morning. I love the way use your moth - who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time - to provide a soft link from one stanza to the next. There is a feeling of suspension as your stanzas unfold - as if the reader is teetering on the brink of something that takes its time to unfold. A keenly observed description of a mystical time of day. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
