At All Cost Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

At All Cost

Hearts asunder have been broken
In their place of desolation
Eyes bleed tears for words unspoken
Frowning faces seek elation

Those dried wells of love so thirsting
Draws forth waters fabled running
Till the quench of want is bursting
Coupled by all lovers sunning

As a life moves near its intent
Comes the special one in tandem
Paradise or plain hell bent
Whether you are Eve or Adam.
