Hi Heather, you've captured this quite truth nicely. I began having these experiences as a child, and not only me, but a few of my siblings also. It's neat when one's higher self can itself in a ceiling corner and look down on the physical body there on the bed. As one continues to explore, not only movement within the physical universe is possible, but one also begins to develop a knowingness that we are multi-dimensional beings concurrently existing in several other universes. The physical body is a mechanism/transformer Soul uses to express Itself in the physical universe; likewise the astral body a mechanism/transformer to express Itself in the astral dimension. And there are other bodies beyond the astral. Here in the physical we think nothing of channel on a tv....by doing this all we do is tune into another electromagnetic band vibrating at a frequency different from the one we left or even another we may want to look at. As we humans can do this, so also can Soul learn to switch Its attention from the physical, to the astral, to etc., etc., etc..

A metaphysical experience! Mind and body coming together in perfect relaxation is a time of deep perceptions and etherial experiences! Enjoyed! !

Dreaming is the best part of sleeping when the mind wanders on its travels.
