Aster Avenue Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Aster Avenue

Rating: 5.0

avenue of hues
but mostly asters rich blooms
colored by the sun

petals on pathways
in windswept honeyed summer
on the outside in

tireless mauve hours pause
just to hear cardinals sing
giddy joy in blooms

backwards and forwards
admiring feet are marching
wild dreamy summer
