Assignment Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Assignment

Assignment, a weight on my chest,
A challenge to overcome my best.
With heavy tasks and endless grind,
Life's hurdles seem impossible to bind.
Guided by rules, I march forward,
With syllables counting every word.
Each line, a step towards success,
Through syllabic verse, I confess.
At times, I stumble and fall,
But the assignment still calls.
I pick myself up, never giving in,
For life's challenges, I must win.
Syllables add structure to my plight,
As I navigate through each line's fight.
With every stanza, I grow stronger,
Defeating obstacles, lasting longer.
The syllables, a constant reminder,
That life's challenges make me wiser.
Through each assignment, I learn,
To never give up, and to earn.
For every task, I am assigned,
Syllabic verse keeps me aligned.
With determination and will,
I conquer challenges, big or small.
So, bring on life's challenges, I say,
For I am ready to face them today.
With syllabic verse as my guide,
I'll overcome and rise with pride.
Assignment, a test of my might,
But I'll emerge victorious in this fight.
For through syllabic verse, I've grown,
And life's challenges, I'll always own.
