Superb. I studied this poem, dutifully, when I was young at college. I thought I knew what it meant. Now, past 70, My husband dying in the hospital without me, I sit at my computer reading this- and, as if for the first time, and know what it really means.

If you have any interest at all in this poem, PLEASE find the original version with the proper line layouts. WCW worked his entire life to build that stanza structure, and its almost sacrilegious to read the poem without it. Marvelous poem!
