What a good and realistic way to forge ahead when the bliss of love has ended! Burning words of love to ashes and taking things in stride. A lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

a wonderful catharsis penned for others to gain that wisdom and insight, , noting that while there is remorse there is no resentment, , , a man who yes has met himself before his arrival.....

Now this is one powerful write! The only problem is, one thinks that in burning what used to be, the feelings will also subside. But they don't do they? We can delete, erase and eradicate, until the cows come home, but the emotions remain, etched into the very fabric of one's soul. Mo One of my favs.

A marvelous poem, I’m not sure I’ve read a better piece about terminating a lover. The poem is a flame throwing and I loved it.
