Ashaiman Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Ashaiman

I am in the place of Yahweh!
But, you are now at a place full of evil;
Oh Ashaiman! !
I am the queen's-daughter-in-law;
And, my love is now under the tamarisk tree.

To adopt a stratagem towards my lover,
But, i do know your evil ways! !
And like the sword of Goliath,
However, he who seeks my life also seeks your life.

Come and stay with me and learn the ways of Yahweh! !
For, you will be very safe under my love oh Ashaiman;
However, the wages of sin leads to death.
