As we walk, hand in hand, happily along
This heather moor, the peace is ours to share.
We'll pause to hear the wild birds' sweetest songs.
Nature's beauty gives time to stand and stare.
The roaring, modern world seems far away.
O the quiet touches our hearts and souls!
We feel so free on this delightful day,
As clouds drift by, and gentle breezes blow.
