David, yours is a wonderful gift......you're able to paint scenes that cause one to feel that they are there with you taking it all in both with silent gratitude and the same degree of appreciation. Very well done!

Nature in all its beauty abounds here in this poem taking me to my beautiful country side with its fields of paddy and bales of corn during the harvest season! Vast stretches of land where towering 'Teak' trees and squirrels running up and down their trunk is a common sight! ! Instead of horse carts, we had bullock carts! ! Beautiful poem! !

A beautiful poem David about nature it is so descriptive you make the reader feel as if they are there. Val has written one on the Weeping Willow and along with this poem they are both great pieces of work. well done.
