As Life Poem by Sanjib Saha

As Life

loses its charm,
To burning away the body.
The body!
Which was once
The sanctuary of love,
Now lies lifeless.
Rather if lay it
To rest in the earth,
It merges with the soil,
Becomes fertile,
And returns again and again -
Just like life itself.'
