As Karma Has Two Halves Poem by M. A Heathcote

As Karma Has Two Halves

Lying here with you
If I do go home before you
Lay here and wait for me.
As I wait for you,
Could you please wait for me?
As I am lying here in wait for you?
Lay here and wait for me.
And I'll take you into my arms.
Lying here with you
Maudling as the morning dew
Let me go… before you.
And believe me when I say
I'll be sleeping in your arms.
As karma has two halves.
