God, to Whitman, was both immanent and transcendent and the human soul was immortal and in a state of progressive development. Walt Whitman was a great poet and author, but he was homosexual and bisexual as is stated in his BIO. CONGRATULATIONS to the family of the late poet Walt Whitman.
