'The landscape is the color of old wood. Vividness would disturb its elegance.' I found those two lines really beautiful. They give the poem atmosphere and reality, a backcloth to the whole picture, the whole scene. And your last two lines finished off the poem superbly. An enjoyable read for me. Thank you, Sandra. Love, Fran xx
you really do know how to decribe out side picture of the beautiful things that your eyes do see, and brings them to your heart and mind to be able to place them into such wonderful poetry.

Your depth of feeling is conveyed exquisitely and powerfully in a relatively short poem. It is sometimes difficult to achieve one beautiful image in a single poem, but you've magically created several with this stellar offering. A most enjoyable read. Thank you immensely. Kindest regards, Greg XXO

My fear is that poetry and poets no longer mean anything in a world of immense suffering on the one hand and worship of technology on the other hand, in the midst of this my fear, you reassure that poetry and art are as eternal as love itself, thanks for that!
Sandra this poem has proved to me what a gifted writer you are. To write words like that first line is something else. It is so beautiful. I Count the Snow Flakes as I Count the Days. To remember someone in that way to me would be everlasting. cheers Sylvie
