As Autumn Turns Poem by Penni Currie

As Autumn Turns

As Autumn turns to Winter's chill,
The earth dons garments, vibrant still.
A tapestry of colours bright,
In nature's dance, a pure delight.
The Leaves like embers, red and gold
Whisper stories of warmth retold.
And as they fall, they gently greet,
The quiet ground beneath our feet.
O, Jesus in this sacred space,
We kneel before your boundless grace.
With every hue, a prayer we weave,
In colours bold, our hearts believe.
As branches bare, reach for the skies,
Our spirits lift, our hopes arise.
Filled with the essence of the day,
The Holy Spirit guides our way.
Through Winter's breath, the world will sleep
Yet in the silence, blessings seep.
For in the stillness, beauty speaks,
In every whisper, love that seeks.
So let us bow and offer thanks,
As earth's own colours form our ranks
For in this season, harsh but pure,
We find God's promise, strong and sure
