Art-Work Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Art-Work

Getting tight spot
Trouble in paradise
On the foreign lands
A lady from her parents
Shifting as to her in-laws
That needs to have a sense
Of ownership and concern-
Loving it, as one's own home.

In the man's world-
Celebrating disbelief
In instant gratification
Finding its urge to create
A match to the original
After painstaking labour
At work and back to work
Enjoying a beautiful day
And day after the day.

Getting pregnant with
With mixed good plus bad
Luminous parallel thoughts
Drinking the bitter sips of life
Cutting short, the risks of loss
Trying to immortalize
Immortalize the whole art-work.
