Truly an enjoyable glimpse. There is more than one way of painting a picture as your poem and your creation testifies. Even the great Picasso said that art is simply a happy accident.

This really made me smile! I have three kids...all well past this stage but this does bring back memories! I have to say it really shows what a loving mother you must be to appriciate the ''art'' in that mess rather than get angry. Very sweet poem. Sincerely, Mary

I have no children of my own but i have worked with children, though not that young, and i love to see their imagination at work. Steve

I especially got a thrill from recognising the jar! But it just gets better as it goes along. A moment of chagrin turned into an appreciation of 'performance art'! Still, I'm glad to experience it vicariously, not having to clean it up. Just a terrific poem, the complexity of life encapsulated in so few words. Loved it. Loved the love it shows.

This is true of many young children I know- something that can be a mess can also be interpreted as a masterpiece. Nice job. Keep up the good work :)
