Arrows Of Fate Poem by Bamukunda Hillary

Arrows Of Fate

In a world of ten suns, failed by ten sons,
An Archer throws the arrow of fate's sweet buns.
Aiming high, he pierces the autumn sky,
As the full moon rises, his legend will fly.

In a world where peace and unity flows,
The myth swims in our lives like elixir that glows.
Chang'e's tale of love and longing we adore,
As we gather beneath the moon's silvery score.

We have all been trapped in love's sweet delight,
And the mooncakes we eat with our hearts alight.
The fruits our hearts we share with compassion and grace,
Reunited by the moon, we fly our lanterns to the world's embrace.
And the moon goddess adores us like candles bright,
We light the world ablaze with laughter, joy, and warmth tonight.
And forever our memories remain flesh for the next moon festival
